CANCELLED – Emmanuel Family Camp

EVENT CANCELLED

Plans are still underway for the National Camp in October.

Emmanuel Family Camp is a weekend of support, encouragement and fun for families living with disability. It’s a weekend designed for the whole family; children with disabilities, siblings and parents.

We have kids and youth programmes in the mornings with a variety of activities, planned with the attending kids/youth in mind. While parents meet for worship, guest speaker and a time of sharing. Afternoons are relaxed with optional activities for the whole family.

Your family will be assigned a volunteer helper to assist at mealtimes and activities. They are not able to assist with personal cares so if you need to bring a carer with you make sure to include them on your registration form.

This is an amazing opportunity for volunteers as well, to support a family, get to know some amazing people and have fun at the same time!

Welcome to the Outback

Welcome to the Outback

Kids Connect is a camp specifically for young people with physical and mild disabilities aged 9-16*. It is held at Motu Moana Scout Camp in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland.

Occasionally, we require a meeting before camp to ensure we are able to meet their needs during the camp.

Acceptance is not automatic, but at the discretion of the camp director.

Our camps are conducted by experienced, trained staff. We make every effort to give campers a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Simple biblical teaching is given in a relevant way. Our aim is that every camper comes away with lasting memories of what they have experienced, explored and enjoyed at our camp.

We focus on building strong, healthy relationships with all those in attendance (those with and without physical disabilities).

We have a weekend packed full of activities, action and fun

  • Team games, competitions, songs and MORE!
  • Use of a wheelchair accessible bush track
  • Quad bikes
  • Craft
  • Discussions, GREAT FOOD and LOADS of FUN!

The camp fee is $140 (subject to change). We also accept payment by way of Ministry of Health carer support forms. Day visits and rates can be organised on an individual basis if a full weekend stay is unsuitable.

The Hikoi of the Lord

The Hikoi of the Lord

Pacific Pearls have joined with local Christian Maori networks and church ministries across Aotearoa for a “NZ Strategic Alliance of the Body of Christ”under the Banner of One Name. It’s Time! The Footprint of faith is deep and wide in this land. The Hikoi of the Lord is a call to the Churches of Aotearoa for a collective unification of the Body of Christ to corporately come together to worship, to pray, as we move from city to city, from Marae to Marae as “One Waka, One Nation, One People under One Name”. It is His name, “Ihu Karaiti – Jesus Christ” that unites us beyond church denomination, beyond ministries, beyond our cultures, beyond our gender, hapu, and Iwi.

Join us as we embark on an exceptional journey covering the four corners of our nation, into the Marae of Aotearoa, to worship, to pray and to unite. This is not an outreach to Maori; it is Maori opening our doors of the Marae to the churches of Aotearoa. It is our invitation to the Church. Join us on one Marae or several, as we, the Body of Christ strategically link together to stretch God’s tent pegs over the very foundations of our nation.

God’s Hikoi is a 12 week non-stop continuous journey hosted on 40 Marae covering the full length of our nation. From Cape Reinga to the Bluff and finishing at the Chatham Islands – from the 6th February to the 27th of April 2019. That’s “40 Marae over 12 weeks and every 3rd day we rise”.

We would love you to join us on one Marae or several, whatever works best for you. Check out www.pacificpearls.net for further details. Gather your whanau, your church, your people and join us on the highways and byways of our nation.

Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi
Your food basket, my food basket the people thrive

Together we all have a piece of the puzzle, and together we complete God’s picture for our nation. The footprint of faith is deep and wide in this land. It’s Time!

Everyone welcome at a location near you!

THE KAUPAPA

The Holy Spirit breathed life and ignited those words “HIKOI of the LORD”.

The Holy Spirit is calling His Bride “Maranga mai (arise), Rise up my Beloved” It’s Time!

Yes, It’s Time!  The Footprint of faith is deep and wide in this land.  God’s Hikoi is a collective unification of ministries/churches hosted by 40 Marae around NZ.  We are heeding the call of the Holy Spirit to “Arise and Awake the Nation” to invite, to unite, and move through our nation, from City to City, from Marae to Marae.

We invite You into the Marae of Aotearoa, to stand shoulder to shoulder, brother to brother, sister to sister, stretching His tent pegs over the very foundations of our nation.  This is a karanga to the frontline, a nationwide movement of the saints under ONE NAME – Ihu Karaiti – Jesus Christ.   His NAME unites us beyond church denominations,  beyond ministries, beyond cultures,  gender, hapu, and Iwi. a prophetic assignment moving as “One Waka, One Nation, One People”.

It’s time!  The footprint of faith is deep and wide in this land, and God’s fingerprint is on our nation for such a time as this.  From Te Rerenga Wairua (Cape Reinga) and moving down from the North. That’s 40 Marae over 12 weeks, and every 3rd day we rise and move to the next Marae and so on.

Youth Bible Camp | Ages 8-16

April 14-18, 2019 | Raincliff Youth Camp, South Canterbury

Our fourth youth Bible camp will complete the book of Acts as we closely follow the amazing ministry of the apostle Paul.

Campers will spend 18+ hours over five days immersed in one of the most exciting books of the Bible, the divinely-inspired history of the early church. Paul, the primary character, is a true hero, worthy of our close attention and imitation.

Morning and evenings will be spent studying God’s word. Afternoons are dedicated to fun outdoor and indoor activities.

After the camp, youth are encouraged to complete their workbooks with their parents at home and send them to us so that they can attend the next camp, which will likely take place in July and cover Genesis 1-11.

Led by: Jeff Coleman of Firm Foundation New Zealand

Cost per family: $100 (1 youth) | $175 (2 youth) | $250 (3 youth)

To Register: Contact Jeff at 027 557 9314 or email

Jesus promised His disciples that they would take the Gospel to the remotest parts of the earth. Observe Paul’s transformation from persecutor of the church to preacher. Join him on his journeys across the Roman world to proclaim the saving message of Jesus to Jews and Gentiles. Learn how to witness and how to live an authentic Christian life in all circumstances in the power of the Holy Spirit. Learn to be like Paul, to be bold in proclaiming the name of Jesus and to trust our sovereign Lord who enables us to endure persecution and suffering at the hands of those who hate Jesus…and therefore, hate us.
