Join cbm New Zealand in celebrating Advent in 2023!

To help spread the good news this Advent season, cbm NZ (Christian Blind Mission) is again teaming up with the Churches of Aotearoa New Zealand, with a special four week Advent series.

To support you in preparing for Advent 2023, cbm is pleased to provide you with a weekly PowerPoint focusing on the four Advent themes. Included are thoughtful scriptures, suggested sermon notes, prayers, and cbm’s transformational stories of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love (with cbm’s short videos). You are welcome to use as much, or as little, as you need.

Not only is cbm’s Advent series available for churches, you can also invite your church family to continue their own weekly Advent celebrations at home.

Designed to create special moments at home, church members can enjoy and deepen their experience of ‘Advent at Home’ or share these thoughtful online activities with their Home Group. They can also share this online Advent series with family members, friends or neighbours. They will have access to scriptures for prayer and reflection during the week, cbm stories of lives transformed, crafts, colouring activities, meaningful gifts for Christmas and more.
