A Call to Prayer Hamilton

In the New Testament, we see Jesus and the apostles praying for the Church and we find Paul encouraging the Church to pray for one another and those in authority. Hamilton is a City for God’s glory to prevail through the manifestation of corporate prayer through the Church, we are called to always pray for our City.

The Hamilton Prayer Breakfast will be the most ethnically diverse, multi-denominational unity event on the Hamilton Christian calendar and our Mayor Paula Southgate has confirmed to attend with our local civic and parliamentary leaders. Last year’s event gathered around 260 people, and many expressed how this year they wanted to invite more. Praise God for His goodness!

Who and why should you attend?

  • Together we express our unity in Christ, catch a glimpse of the body of Christ in our City, our region, make new friends and perhaps meet business and community associates whom you never knew were believers enjoy fellowship over a breakfast.
  • Any person who desires to pray for our different communities that come together in the Hamilton, across our region such as business (the professions), politics, ethnic communities, the arts, education, government and those in need.
  • It’s good to pray at all times and also alone, but there is a place for corporate prayer on occasions such as this. This is a privilege we should not underestimate, to be able to freely gather in this country and to call on our Heavenly Father in prayer.

Please encourage your church leadership and community to attend. Invite new friends to join you in prayer.  Invite by sharing/inviting people via Facebook Hamilton Prayer Breakfast page.
