Hikoi Rangihoua – A Kiwi Camino from Parnell to Puhoi

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You are invited to join us for a three-day walking pilgrimage from Parnell to Puhoi. We will meet at 7:30 am on Sunday 25th March at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Parnell. We’ll enjoy this majestic building and a blessing before departing on our first day’s 23 km walk to Vaughan Park at Long Bay. (Habour crossing by ferry).

Our second day includes the beautiful Okura Bush Walkway to Stillwater, lunch at historic St Stephens Church in Whangaparaoa, and overnight in Orewa.

On day three we will walk via the coast to Waiwera, lunch there then through the bush track to Wenderholm. A kayak paddle up the Puhoi River to Puhoi Village will complete our travels. The Hikoi will include a visit to the historic Bohemian Catholic Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Puhoi, followed by dinner at the Puhoi Pub, before shuttle return to Parnell.
