The Maxim Internship is a 12-week summer residential programme for university students and recent graduates with an interest in policy, politics, and communications.
The programme is comprised of morning classes with experts in theology, history, philosophy, law, politics and communications; afternoon readings of key primary texts by some of the world’s greatest thinkers; and evenings spent hosting special guests or engaging in debate.
“The most significant takeaway for me was a real formation and confirmation of my interest in the public square and questions of public policy. I would recommend the program to others, and am keen to support the program in the future in whatever way I can.”
Given the rigorous nature of the programme, a high standard of academic attainment is a prerequisite.
Early applicants for the Internship will be invited to join us for our Alumni weekend (Friday 21 to Saturday 22 June). Here they will meet some of our Alumni community and gain further insight into the Internship programme.
Applications close on Friday 23 August.
Successful applicants will be notified no later than September, with the twelve-week programme commencing mid-November—corresponding with the university summer break.
