Are you a visionary leader with a deep commitment to Christian education?  Bethlehem College is a renowned non-denominational, co-educational Christian College (Y1-13) where Christian thought and practice are integrated across its broad-based curriculum.  The College, known for providing quality Christian education and excellence in academics, sports,  performing arts, and the shaping of moral leadership and service, is seeking a Christian leader as Head of Secondary for our Tauranga campus.

About the Role

As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Secondary will nurture spiritual leadership and drive the strategic, and operational priorities of the Board of Trustees.  This role is pivotal in nurturing a thriving community of Christian faith, aligning with our College’s Vision and Mission, and ensuring quality learning outcomes for each of our students.

What we are looking for:

Authentic Christian Leadership: A mature, active, Christian faith that guides and inspires your leadership and decision-making.
Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to set and achieve strategic goals, adept at managing priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic Christian environment.
Pedagogical Excellence: Demonstrated leadership in educational practices, with a focus on enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.
Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi: Deep understanding and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and implications for Christian education.
Cultural Stewardship: Track record of fostering a positive and resilient culture that builds trust with staff, parents, and students, and navigates challenges effectively.
