We serve all Christian churches and provide financial support to Bible projects through our Global Bible Society Fellowship. We are now looking for a detail-oriented Inventory and Shipping Administrator to join our Finance Team. This vital role will see you managing inventory and shipping administration for products distributed through Manna Christian Stores, helping ensure our mission continues to reach lives across New Zealand.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring inventory data is accurate and current, applying vendor price changes and maintaining up-to-date product statuses.
  • Managing approved purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, supporting procurement processes, and issuing clear shipping instructions.
  • Monitoring stock in transit, liaising with logistics providers, processing manifests and invoices, and preparing goods for receipting.
  • Coordinating inter-store stock transfers and processing faulty or damaged stock claims in line with policy.
  • Providing inventory support to Manna Stores and liaising with Customer Experience, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Promoting BSNZ’s mission and values while maintaining a safe and positive working environment.

 

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have knowledge of inventory and database management principles
  • Demonstrate experience with consumer goods inventory and supply chain processes
  • Be able to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy and discipline
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Align with BSNZ’s mission and values
  • Be enthusiastic about making the Bible accessible to everyone and encouraging interaction with it!

This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week), based in Wiri, Auckland.
