The Role
Our DPM-Asia/Pacific Regional Office (based in Hawdon Street, Sydenham, Christchurch) is looking to employ a part-time Financial and Office Administrator.
Proposed Start Date: Early January 2026
Hours and Days of Work:Â Approximately 24 hours per week over four days
Key Responsibilities
·        Preparation of financial statements, including monthly accounts, annual financial statements and Charities Accounts for two trusts within DPM
·        Working through an annual financial review with external auditors
·        Bank reconciliations
·        Oversee and follow up on accounts receivable
·        Payment of all accounts payable
·        Assist with preparation of wages on a weekly basis on Thankyou Payroll.
·        Preparation and filing of GST on a six-monthly basis
·        Coordinate shipping documentation for incoming India shipments
·        Processing customer orders via Shopify or telephone as required
·        Respond to counter enquiries and telephone calls when required
We are a small, tight-knit team who work closely together, so duties may vary from time-to-time, for example, assisting with the annual stock-take.
Experience/Technical and Professional Qualifications
·        Experience with administration and accounting work
·     Experience with MoneyWorks desirable, but full training will be provided
·        A Diploma in Business Studies desirable, but not essential
