Senior Pastor

Senior Pastor/Lead Minister position in a well established Presbyterian Church in the South Island.

East Taieri Church situated on the Taieri Plains adjacent to Mosgiel is looking for a person to take the lead role in the parish.

We are a dynamic, community facing mission-led church with members from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. The church includes a strong staff team of 7 including an Associate Pastor, manager, an office administrator and a finance controller. Additionally there is an active Trust attached to the parish which employs 6 people in a mix of part and full time positions to look after youth and community ministries.  We also have an Op Shop that we oversea, in partnership with another local church.

East Taieri is well resourced with a number of different worship and community spaces.  There are 4 Sunday services each week ranging from a breakfast café church at Fairfield, a family service at 10am, a traditional service at 2pm and an interactive night church service aimed at young adults, but open to anyone who wants to grow in faith.

The church is run by an eldership who work with and through a Ministry team to resource the congregation to reach the community with the Gospel.

The church is evangelical and open to change.
