Feilding is a dynamic growing town of 18,000 in the heart of the Manawatu. Feilding Bible Chapel (FBC) is a healthy, growing church family with an openness to be taught from the Bible and to extend the Gospel to the people of Feilding.

We are looking for someone who will lead our Sunday teaching programme and who can develop and lead a culture of evangelism and discipleship among our staff, ministry teams and the wider church family.

Our desire is for the FBC church family to grow to be more faithful and fruitful in Christ.

This Lead Pastor role will serve the vision of FBC in association with the Eldership.

Requirements:

·         You are a person of honesty and integrity

·         You are able to handle the Word of God and to teach the truth clearly

·         You will be compatible doctrinally with FBC – you will be able affirm our doctrinal statement

·         You will need to have a strong, mature and resilient faith

·         You have a heart for evangelising and a vision as to how we can evangelise

·         You will have a passion for God’s people at FBC and a desire to care for them pastorally

·         You will have experience in leadership (a servant leader) and in growing and building teams

·         You will need to have an appreciation for our Open Brethren Heritage culture, character and structure and a willingness to engage with the local Christian Leaders network as well as the wider CCCNZ movement

Desired Requirements

·         A good cultural fit with Feilding as a “rural” community

·         Disciplined and organised

·         A New Zealand resident
