Transforming Communities Through Christ's Love
The Opportunity
What if you could impact unreached villages in Asia and Africa without leaving New Zealand?
Every day, millions of people live and die without ever hearing the name of Jesus. GFA World (GFA NZ Trust) exists to change that—by mobilizing everyday Kiwis to send national missionaries to the places where the gospel has never gone.
We’re looking for someone who understands administration can be ministry—because every donation you process, every thank-you note you write, and every relationship you nurture helps send another worker to people still waiting to hear about Jesus.
This isn’t just office work. This is exponential kingdom impact.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing (And Why It Matters)
Your primary role is managing and cultivating relationships with our New Zealand partners who are helping to reach the unreached.
You’ll be:
- Connecting with donors personally—answering calls, responding to emails, praying with people, and helping them see the eternal impact of their generosity.
- Processing donations with integrity—because every gift matters, and faithful stewardship honors both the giver and God.
- Coordinating and sending communications (print and email) that inspire—monthly updates, donation acknowledgements, and stories from the field that keep our partners engaged in Christ’s mission.
- Serving as the relational bridge between everyday Kiwis and frontline missionaries.
You’ll work closely with our Australia and US teams, participate in weekly prayer meetings, and help create a culture where administration fuels mission.
Who You Are
You’re not looking for “just a job.” You’re looking for a way to serve God that matches where you are right now.
Maybe you’re:
- A missions-hearted parent who wants flexible hours and kingdom purpose
- A young professional who loves Jesus, wants to impact the world and use their skills to an eternal impact
- Someone with both admin skills and people skills who’s tired of using them only for a paycheck
You bring:
- A genuine love for Jesus and a heart for the lost
- Administrative ability (comfort with Excel, Word, donor databases, etc)
- Relational warmth—you can pray with someone on the phone and genuinely care
- A passion for the gospel reaching the unreached
- Agreement with GFA’s statement of faith
Your life stage doesn’t matter to us. What matters is that you’re looking for a vocation with meaning, not just a stepping stone or a source of income. We want someone who can grow with us.
Joining Us
Start: 20 hours per week at $30/hour
Flexibility: We’ll work with your schedule—this could be mornings only, 3 full days, or another arrangement that fits your life
Growth potential: If you’re a good fit with our mission and values, this could lead to full-time work after a 1-year trial period. Full-time staff are required to raise personal support (a model many mission organizations use to expand kingdom impact without being limited by budget constraints). We will train you and walk you through the process step-by-step.
This role is Auckland-based, though some remote work may be possible depending on circumstances.
Why This Matters
Because of faithful people doing faithful work behind the scenes, national missionaries are preaching the gospel, planting churches, and discipling believers in villages where Christ has never been named. There are so many more people who need to hear about Christ, but the laborers are few.
Your role? You’re the one who makes that possible. Not by going yourself, but by mobilizing the body of Christ in New Zealand to send, support and sustain those who do.
One person. Hundreds of donors. Thousands of lives transformed.
That’s exponential impact.
