Could you be our new Kids & Families Lead?
Glendowie Presbyterian Church (GPC) is a mid-sized evangelical Church with a kids ministry of 30+ children.
We are looking for a reliable, creative, fun and godly person to work with the families in our congregation.
This is a paid role for 20 hours and involves a variety of opportunies across our church, Kindy, the neighbouring school and within the local community to inspire, get alongside, and bring kids and families closer to God.
The Role:
To coordinate a well run, fun and engaging GPC Kids Sunday program.
To nurture the faith of GPC kids.
To be the point of contact for Kids & Families Ministry.
To equip families to grow their children’s faith.
To recruit train and develop leaders.
To support GPC in providing outreach opportunities into the community.
About You:
Maintain and model a Christ-centred lifestyle and evangelical faith.
Show initiative and be self-directed
Be passionate and enthusiastic
Be efficient and manage time well
Be flexible, teachable, and prepared to take risks
Be a positive and fun presence in the community
Be committed to carrying out the church’s vision
