KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of 1720 students. The school is a Christian community of learning that nurtures young people towards their full potential as servant leaders in the Kingdom of God. We are located in Orewa on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast.
We seek two adaptable and enthusiastic social sciences teachers to join our highly collegial Junior Secondary and Senior School Social Science Faculty. There are two positions available, one of which is suitable for a beginning teacher and the other has the potential for middle leadership in Junior Secondary. Please state teaching strengths.
Starting in Term 1 of 2024, the ideal applicants will:
- Connect well with, and thrive on imparting their knowledge to students in year 10-13
- Have NCEA experience (an advantage)
- Be a registered, Senior School trained teacher – Experience in teaching Senior History is an advantage
- Relate well with parents
