We have several openings to join our staff as Specialist Learning Assistant (ESOL or Learning Support) across both our campuses in 2026.
Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2,000 students.  Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako.
About the job
As a Specialist Learning Assistant, you will be joining a passionate and committed group of staff, working to support our students with a diverse range of learning and/or behaviour needs. Based across both our Junior and Senior Campus, the positions range from 15-30 hours per week and are term-time only (37-40 weeks).
The successful applicant will be:
- Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic for helping students realise their full potential
- Excellent with communication and organisational skills
- Able to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Willing to learn new skills
- Experienced in supporting complex learning and behaviour needs or have a qualification in teaching ESOL (advantageous)
- Willing to support our special character
