There is a part-time role available within the Supported Groups team at mainly music. This role is for a mainly music Session Facilitator to run a mainly music session at one venue and to be a Wellbeing Co-ordinator for 2 sessions at a separate venue.

Applicants will need strong organisational and communication skills as well as being comfortable using technology and have a willingness to learn. You will need to come alongside the mothers without overstepping boundaries. Experience working with tamariki under 5 is not essential but would be an advantage in this role.

This role has an allocation of up to 9 hours a week where some of that time will be on the day of the session, at scheduled meetings and the balance on another day at your convenience. You will need your own reliable transport and suitable driver’s license.

Ideally the successful applicant will be given to someone who has a passion for local mission and a desire to work with the mainly music Supported Groups Team, amongst whānau experiencing vulnerability.

Having prior experience of mainly music would be an advantage but isn’t compulsory as we provide training. If you have experience in education or community work, your transferrable skills will be helpful. We are looking for someone who has a heart to bring delight into the lives of whānau.
