Distribution Centre Assistant Team Lead

Manna Christian Stores is looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our central Manukau based Distribution Centre.  As Distribution Centre Assistant Team Lead, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Centre while leading and inspiring a team of dedicated assistants.  You will work closely with the Distribution Centre Team Lead to coordinate and oversee daily operations, ensuring that all processes are executed with precision and efficiency.

To be right for this role you will –

• Be willing to work hard and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Have prior/relevant experience in a distribution centre or warehouse environment
• Be proficient in using warehouse management systems and/or software
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be able to accurately process, pick, pack and distribute orders within the required timeframe
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg’s safely
• Have a problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
• Have relevant knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a distribution center

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried position.  To be considered for this role you must be currently living in and legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
