Celebrate Recovery Support Team Leader (Part-Time – 8 Hours per Week) Massey Community Trust | West Auckland

Massey Community Trust is seeking a compassionate and capable Celebrate Recovery Support Team Leader to help strengthen our Celebrate Recovery programme. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families while supporting a dedicated team of facilitators and volunteers.

This role provides leadership support to the CR Director/Community of Care Lead and works closely with facilitators, volunteers, and participants to ensure Celebrate Recovery remains a safe, welcoming and transformative space for all who attend.

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a 12-step recovery programme, running 52 weeks per year, supporting people as they navigate their hurts, habits, and hang‑ups and providing them with the manaaki and aroha that they need on their path toward healing and recovery. Through practical tools, a supportive community, and a clear set of recovery principles, CR offers a pathway toward freedom and renewed hope.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Facilitator Support
  • Support and mentor Celebrate Recovery facilitators and co-facilitators.
  • Assist with facilitator training and ongoing development.
  • Foster a positive, supportive culture with high team morale.
  • Help ensure programmes are delivered safely and effectively.
• Programme Oversight
  • Support the ongoing delivery and effectiveness of recovery programmes.
  • Coordinate volunteers and contribute to volunteer development.
  • Help maintain safe programme environments and processes.
  • Support the growth and sustainability of the Celebrate Recovery community.
• Pastoral Care & Community Support
  • Work alongside the Community of Care Lead to support individuals and families in need.
  • Assist with crisis management and support planning.
  • Build relationships with external agencies and referral partners.
  • Provide particular support for male participants where appropriate.
• Events & Community Engagement
  • Support the planning and delivery of special events and celebrations.
