mainly music New Zealand Trust is a for purpose organisation, with all staff having a passion to work under the umbrella of a Christian statement of faith.
We are looking for a Session Facilitator to run mainly music in 3 Early Childhood Centres in Whangārei.
We are offering 4 permanent hours per week to run 1 session in 1 centre with potential for growth.
We are also offering an additional 3 hours per week on a short term contract (maternity cover) to run 2 established sessions in 2 centres until 11 December 2026.
Some hours will be worked at the centres on session days. Remaining hours will be worked from home.
You will be someone who has a passion for local mission; someone who wants to bring delight to the lives of whānau. You are confident singing waiata in te reo Māori, saying Karakia at the beginning and end of the session and using reo Māori instructional language throughout the session.
You will bring strong organisational and communication skills, be comfortable with technology and have a willingness to learn. Experience working with tamariki under 5 in education or community work is an advantage. You will have your own reliable transport and a suitable driver’s license.
Training, on-going development and support will be provided. Hourly rate based on experience.
