Ministry Leader for Children and their Families, Taupo Baptist Church.
3 days per week (0.6FTE) approximate / negotiable
Taupo Baptist Church community welcomes a leader who will nurture our church’s growing number of children and support their families. This person will lead a team of passionate volunteers and employees and will unite them around the gospel and the vision of the church. A capable administrator and expert delegator, this person will unite the team around a compelling goal of discipling children in love, drawing on the strengths and motivations of the various team members. A people-person who enjoys social interaction, this leader will get alongside parents and caregivers and support them in their God-given role, helping to build authentic intergenerational community. Having a love for Scripture, the children’s leader will enjoy contextualising and implementing a curriculum, differentiated to best suit the discipleship needs of the various age-groups.  Teaching experience in the primary sector or in church ministry is essential.
