As the Philanthropy Manager, you will lead a passionate team to grow and steward high-value donor relationships. You’ll oversee personalised donor journeys, inspire transformational giving, and deliver against fundraising goals. This is a unique opportunity to combine your leadership, relationship management, and fundraising expertise to create lasting impact for children in the world’s toughest places.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and inspire the Mid & Major Donor team to achieve fundraising and stewardship goals.
• Oversee personalised donor engagement strategies that align with philanthropic interests.
• Oversee the relationship management of those supporters leaving a gift in their will to World Vision.
• Fundraise and steward a portfolio of major donor relationships.
• Guide strategy and proposals for major gifts, ensuring excellence in stewardship.
• Manage donor portfolios, pipelines, and performance dashboards.
• Collaborate with marketing, fundraising, and global philanthropic partners.
• Ensure effective use of CRM tools, with accurate reporting and forecasting.

About you:

• 5+ years’ experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship management, ideally with high-value portfolios.
• Proven experience leading or coaching teams with a focus on performance and development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Skilled in planning, project management, and achieving financial targets.
• Experience in the non-profit or philanthropic sector an advantage.
