“Real Mates You Can Count On”
(and how to be a real friend to others)

Who is your closest male friend and how close are you? Is he an acquaintance, a friend or a brother?

Aaron Ironside will guide us through the various types of friendship and why friends are especially important when we go through hard times. Jesus related differently to people on different levels and so do we. What are those differences in our lives, and how do we react?

Aaron has a wealth of experience to share from both the perspective of a professional counsellor and from multiple real life friendship experiences. He will help us navigate into deeper, more meaningful relationships.

“The wall that you use to keep out the bad also keeps out the good. Walls are a broken strategy.” – Aaron[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Click here for more information” style=”custom” custom_background=”#c21111″ custom_text=”#ffffff” shape=”round” link=”||target:%20_blank|”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1539295024894{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;background-color: #dadadc !important;}”]

AGM 2015 Chch

Wednesday, 2 September

Riccarton Baptist Church
80 Rattray Street, Riccarton, Christchurch
5:15 – 6:45 pm

NZ Christian Network’s (Christchurch) AGM event at Riccarton Baptist Church. Refreshments and networking as well as an inspiring guest speaker, Commissioner Janine Donaldson, from the Salvation Army. This is the first time we’ve run this in Christchurch, so please come along and enjoy the fellowship.

Commissioner Janine Donaldson trained and commenced her working life as an Enrolled Nurse.   In 1985 she trained as a Salvation Army Officer and subsequently had leadership roles in church and community services in Christchurch, Whakatane, Timaru and Auckland.

Janine has held education and leadership development roles within The Salvation Army in New Zealand, Zambia and South Africa, also administrative leadership roles in New Zealand and South Africa.   Janine serves as a member of the Territorial Coordination Council, leads The Salvation Army’s ministry to women in New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, and has recently taken on the role of Territorial Overseas Development Officer.

Ten years living and working on the African Continent was a wonderful cross cultural privilege that provided huge opportunities for personal and professional development.

Married to Robert for 31 years, Janine has three adult sons Nik married to Kate, Chris and Shauna and Tim and fiancée Whitney.

Janine is passionate about enabling, empowering, motivating and encouraging women to reach their potential and to develop as leaders.

Janine has also been the mother of four Jack Russell Terrier dogs; which perhaps says something about her personality!!
