2025 – 2026 Impact Report

Our Impact Report highlights some NZCN activities from the last
financial year (1 April 2025 – 31 March 2026).

National Director’s Message

Over the past year, from April 2025 to March 2026, we have seen encouraging growth and meaningful impact across our network. It has been a privilege to serve alongside churches, organisations, and individuals committed to strengthening the Christian voice in Aotearoa New Zealand. I am thankful for all those who support our work, and those who introduce others to NZCN. I am also grateful for the other members of our team at NZ Christian Network, Malcolm, Esther and Marcela, and our Board.

Through NZCN News, we continue to engage a few thousand subscribers with regular insights, opportunities, and Christian reflections on faith, church, NZ society, and overseas events.

Our weekly Pray As One gatherings remain a vital space for unity in prayer, faithfully supported by a committed group of participants and volunteers.

We have been especially encouraged by the expansion of the Aotearoa New Zealand Prayer Breakfasts into new regions, bringing together nearly 1,700 people across four cities in 2025, and with further cities planned for this year and beyond.

Our partnership with Rhema Media & Shine TV has also enabled us to contribute regularly to national conversations, while the launch of our podcast in early 2026 opens new avenues to share our message more widely.

Finally, we celebrate the addition of 43 new full members this year, a sign of growing connection and shared purpose.

Looking ahead, we are now busy planning the New Zealand Christian Leaders’ Congress (17–18 November in Wellington), which takes place every three years and we anticipate it will be a significant gathering for encouragement, equipping, and unity.

Thank you for your ongoing support, prayer, and partnership.

Ngā mihi nui,
Rev Dr Stuart Lange (National Director)

Pray As One is our weekly online prayer meeting that takes
place via Zoom on a Monday night from 8PM – 9PM.

We have between 20 – 30 participants joining every week and
the recording can be watched on YouTube.

Although it is mostly run by volunteers, both Malcolm and
Esther are actively involved in keeping this ministry running.

Until 2025, we assisted with co-ordinating two Aotearoa New Zealand Prayer Breakfasts in Hamilton and Auckland.

In 2025, we added Wellington and Christchurch and in 2026 Invercargill is also coming under the Aotearoa New Zealand Prayer Breakfasts banner.

In 2025 over 1697 people gathered across four prayer breakfasts from approximately 229 Christian organisations and churches, and 13 Christian businesses and organisations were sponsors.

The prayer breakfasts are planned in partnership with key leaders in each region.

We have a wonderful relationship with Andrew Urqhart from Rhema Media/Shine TV.

Stuart, and often Malcolm, are interviewed on a weekly basis (Thursday or Friday) and Andrew also hosts guest pastors who share at our Pray As One meeting.

Our partnership with Rhema Radio and Shine TV has also enabled us to contribute regularly to national conversations.

You can find all the interviews by Google searching these keywords: andrew urqhart’s show stuart lange, or andrew urqhart’s show malcolm falloon.
