Women As One officially launched on 11 August 2015, and is the name for the NZ South Pacific Women’s Commission for this region. We. The launch event, held at the AUT Campus in Auckland, brought together about 40 women from Auckland, Hamilton & Palmerston North to hear Amanda Jackson, the head of the WEA Women’s Commission, speak about the work and opportunity globally: to equip and empower women and girls to be a compassionate prophetic Christian voice – identifying and addressing the unique needs of women around the world.
