Statement of Faith

We believe:

• The Bible is the True, inspired Word of God.
• In the One True God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son & the Holy Spirit.
• In Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, was crucified, died and was buried, and rose again on the third day. He ascended to heaven, and is coming again to judge the world.
• That all have sinned and need to repent, be born again and cleansed from sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, so as to inherit eternal life in heaven.
• In the person and work of the Holy Spirit to empower believers to live a Christ-like life.
• That marriage, as created by God, is between a man and a woman. 
• All people are created in God’s image and likeness. They possess inherent dignity and worth. Because each person is an irrepeatable miracle loved by God, we welcome anyone who wishes to attend our programmes and events. 

Statement on Life and Abortion

As a Christian organisation we serve the creator of life and everything that exists, and God loves His creation.  

All life is precious and worthy to be loved and protected.  

Although the circumstances that life is brought into this world can be challenging, two wrongs do not make a right by killing off the innocent party.  

We must realise that babies inside the womb are precious and can feel pain.  

With regard to disabled babies being killed off through abortion we need to look at this through Gods perspective.  

Compared to God we all are disabled; aren’t we glad He still loves us.   

So, for the more elite to eliminate the less fortunate is a very slippery slope.

Disability Awareness Sunday

We find hope when we belong to a church community that enables us to participate and fosters meaningful friendships.

Our congregation finds hope when everyone is fully participating in the work of Christ and their gifts are celebrated.

In New Zealand, Disability Awareness Sunday (DAS) is observed on the third Sunday in June. It is an opportunity to be intentional about disability awareness but it’s not just about raising awareness. It’s also about celebrating and encouraging people with disabilities in their gifts and ministries.

Often people haven’t had the opportunity to get to know a person living with a disability so it can be difficult to understand or be aware of what life with a disability can be like. We find that the best way to gain a better understanding is to hear from people with disabilities themselves! Is there someone in your church who has a disability that would be willing to speak in church? If not, there are some amazing speakers we can recommend. Sometimes it’s not always practical to have a visiting speaker or you might live in an area where someone isn’t available. That’s why we are creating a collection of stories on film, so you can download and play these in your church, small group, youth group, kids programme, or wherever!
