Rev Dr Stuart Lange

Part-time

Rev Dr Stuart Lange – church historian, Presbyterian minister, and member of the NZCN Board. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at Laidlaw College, where he was formerly Vice Principal, and where he has lectured in the history of Christianity for many years.

His major book is A Rising Tide: Evangelical Christianity in New Zealand, 1930-65 (Otago University Press, 2013). He is also the writer and presenter of the historical DVD documentary Te Rongopai: 200 years of the Gospel in New Zealand, 1814-2014, which is distributed by NZCN.

Stuart is the Senior Minister of a lively multi-cultural church in West Auckland, Massey Presbyterian, where he heads the staff team and does much of the preaching. Over the years Stuart has been known for his evangelical leadership, both within and beyond his own denomination.

Stuart has four sons and eight young grandsons. His wife Christine died in 2014, after a long illness. In June 2017, Stuart married Rose Fauchelle. Among his other enthusiasms, Stuart enjoys walking and running in the great outdoors.

Rev Dr Malcolm Falloon

Part-time

Malcolm is an Anglican minister with over thirty years’ experience in pastoral ministry.

He currently pastors Church of the Ascension in Auckland, which is affiliated with the Church of Confessing Anglicans. Through his work with the Latimer Fellowship (an evangelical society within the Anglican Church), he has experience in connecting leaders together for mutual encouragement and support in the Gospel.

Malcolm is a keen student of New Zealand mission history, and has a PhD specialising in the Māori conversion to Christianity. He is married to Sue and they have three adult
children.

Esther Tredoux

Part-time

Esther, wife to Albert and mum to Noah, is from South Africa. She and her family immigrated to Hamilton, New Zealand in April 2023.

Esther has experience in marketing, social media, and public relations. She has worked for various Christian non-profit organisations (including Mission Aviation Fellowship South Africa) as well as Software as a Service and Public Relations companies.
