Auckland Region Coordinator

Passionate about sharing Christian wisdom about relationships and sexuality in a way that is relevant to young people?

Loving for life is Christian-based relationships and sexuality programme which serves schools and church groups across Aotearoa New Zealand. We are looking for a part time coordinator for the Auckland Region to join our team.

This position is for 10 hours a week initially, but we hope to provide more hours over time. Some of this will be work in schools/church groups – and may be more than 10 hours on occasion. Outside of work with schools/groups the hours are work-at-home and flexible.

The key aspects of the role are

• Delivering Loving for Life Programmes in Schools and Church groups.
• Coordinating Facilitators in Auckland
• Promoting Loving for Life programmes to schools and groups.
• Working with the team to develop/refine programmes

We are seeking someone who:

• Has a real desire to share life-giving biblical wisdom about relationships and sexuality
• Enjoys working with young people
• Agrees to uphold Loving for Life’s Christian vision of human sexuality
• Can coordinate paid staff and volunteers to deliver our programme in schools and with church groups
• Has flexibility in their available times in order to meet the needs of schools
• Has reliable transport to get around schools and groups

It would be an advantage but not necessary to:

• Have a background in health or teaching
• Have skills in website development or videography – as we are developing an online programme for parents/children, as well as schools at a later date
• Be able to travel occasionally to support programmes in other regions

Remuneration will be $35-40 per hour depending on prior experience.
