Are you passionate about seeing people with disability and their whānau leading, contributing, growing and belonging? Do you have great attention to detail and interpersonal skills?

We are seeking someone with outstanding attention to detail, who can bring exceptional organisation to our data, record keeping and administration processes.

This role is 16 hours per week, ideally worked Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

For over 40 years, Elevate Christian Disability Trust has been working to break down barriers for people with disabilities and their whānau to be part of Christian communities in New Zealand. We believe all people hold inherent value and have an essential need for genuine connection and relationship, with both God and others.

Key Tasks: 

  • Manage general correspondence, post, and phone calls for the National Support Office.
  • Manage the database and ensure information is accurate.
  • Process registrations and enquiries for camps, events and seminars.
  • Gather statistical information from our camps, Centre and ministry groups.
  • Process Police Vetting forms.
  • Keep our website up to date.

Qualities and Qualifications:

  • Professional approach
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 knowledge and experience. Advance working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Previous administrative experience required
  • Experience with WordPress websites desirable
  • Knowledge of accessible formats would be advantageous
