Church Planter/Lead Pastor

Gracecity is a locally empowered, centrally resourced, multisite and multi-ethnic church. Our mission is to join God’s renewal of people and places.

We are looking for a Church Planter to lead the pre-launch, launch and establishment of a new location of Gracecity, this person will then transition to become a Location Pastor. Key responsibilities include recruiting and developing a launch team, establishing a new flourishing location of Gracecity, and providing leadership, care, community engagement and operational oversight, in keeping with Our Gracecity Way.

This is a permanent, full-time position (or part time, if delegating responsibilities to other staff members).

• You are an excellent communicator in all forms, skilled in hosting, leading meetings, writing and updating, and engaging with leaders in a clear and impactful manner.
• You possess the ability to translate and implement vision, mission and values into staffing, processes, budget, facilities and plans. You have a proven track record of getting things done on time and on budget, while working well with others in the process.
• You are a problem solver, capable of finding creative solutions and making sound decisions in order to navigate obstacles effectively.
• You have experience in recruiting, leading, developing and multiplying teams in a church, non-profit or business setting.
