Together, revealing Jesus

If a couple these describe you, keep reading!

·        I have a passion to see churches thrive as they interact with whānau in their community

·        I love selling; not pushing but seeing a connection between solutions and those who will use them to reveal Jesus

·        I enjoy helping people see opportunity and possibilities

·        I want to enjoy where I work

We’re looking for a Solutions Sales Coach, working from the Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) region. The right person for this role will be someone who wants to contribute to fulfilling, Together, we create places of belonging where Jesus is revealed.

The role requires interaction with various people, like Church Leaders, people who are interested in establishing ways for whānau to engage with the local church, and people who are on a journey of church planting. For each, there are solutions provided by mainly Ministries that connect with community whānau. We are looking for someone who has previous sales experience; who has a solutions sales approach or can apply their experience in this way, rather than a ‘sales pitch’.

The role is part time, 7 hours a week, worked over two days. We’ll need some hours worked on Thursdays to coincide with prayer/staff connections. All work can be undertaken from home but we’re happy if you’d like to work from the Penrose Support Centre. It would be worthwhile to consider whether you could increase hours as opportunity increases; we’re expecting this.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on deadlines, loves change, relishes a challenge, and is comfortable with technology. This will suit anyone getting back into the workforce, someone who wants to work part-time, or someone with experience whose looking to semi-retire.

We are a for purpose organisation, with all staff having the passion to work under the organisation’s umbrella of a Christian statement of faith. You will be someone who also has a passion for the local church.
