Together, revealing Jesus

An exciting part time, paid position. AUCKLAND based

Experienced Sales Specialist commencing April 2024

Part time: 8 hours a week worked over 2 days, one day being a Thursday

Work from home or work hybrid

We need someone to join our team who can say YES to …

  • I have a passion to see families with young ones thrive as they connect with Christian communities of faith
  • I’m passionate about helping people see opportunity and possibilities
  • I love it when people grow in capacity and influence
  • I want my values and my work to match so I can say, “I love what I do”

The role requires interaction with people who want to establish ways for families to engage with communities of faith; that includes local church, church plants, missional communities, and faith-based schools.

You will connect, communicate, and sell what could be achieved through a partnership with our organisation. It will require you to be comfortable with ‘cold calling’ to promote the opportunities.

Previous sales experience will be an advantage. We use a ‘solutions sales approach’ rather than a ‘sales pitch’. Having sales experience with transferrable skills will be optimum.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • loves connecting with new people
  • will flourish in an organisational structure that challenges, provides regular feedback, and holds staff accountable
  • lives the organisation’s values of creativity, generosity, celebration, honour, and connection
  • is comfortable with technology
  • is self-motivated and good with time management

Auckland based position. Part-time role – 8 hours per week worked over 2 days, with one of those days being a Thursday. You will attend our cultural competency meeting monthly on a Wednesday.

Training and on-going resourcing for the role will be provided. You’ll join a great staff team who will cheer you on.

We are a ‘for purpose organisation’, with all staff having the passion to work under the organisation’s umbrella of a Christian statement of faith and to see people explore faith at their own pace. The role will involve praying with potential partners.

Applications are requested by 9pm, Wednesday 20 March 2024 – supportservices@mainlyMinistries.org
