We are a vibrant growing Anglican church in West Auckland. At least one third of our congregation on Sunday is under the age of 18 and come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
Full time Youth Pastor
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â This person will work with our current ministry leaders to care for our young people from school ages year 7 through 13.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â They will have good biblical knowledge and ideally some youth ministry training.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â This person will be responsible for organising our Sunday youth program and also other youth sessions and events as appropriate.
–         They will be able to communicate to young people a passion for the scriptures, a love for Jesus Christ, a hunger for worshiping God and engaging with God’s presence.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â They will be a team player who has compassion and concern for the unchurched.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience in a Christian church based ministry would be an asset.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Some experience developing and growing team leaders would be valuable.
