From restrictions to opportunities
Pray As One NZ came about in response to the effect Covid-19 had on the wider body of Christ in Aotearoa New Zealand after the nation was put into lockdown in early 2020. With churches closed and no way for the Christians to physically gather, we launched an online prayer meeting and national church service. From that, weekly meetings were established and have continued to bring people together to pray for the spiritual wellbeing of our nation.
