Bethlehem College is seeking a spiritually mature, relationally gifted, and mission-aligned leader to serve as Head of Missions and Community Partnerships, commencing Term 1, 2026.

About the Role

Reporting to the Principal, the Head of Missions and Community Partnerships leads the development, implementation, and management of the College’s mission and community initiatives. The role integrates theological leadership, partnership development, and student mentoring to strengthen the College’s culture of service and care.

You will:

Work collaboratively with the Principal and College leaders to implement the Mission and Community Partnerships Strategy.
Provide theological leadership, ensuring all mission initiatives and community engagements are biblically grounded.
Develop and oversee a mission and service calendar, integrating opportunities for students to serve locally and internationally.
Collaborate with College leaders to align parent engagement initiatives with the College’s mission and community partnerships, strengthening relationships between home, church, and school.
Partner with the Head of Biblical Foundations, Communications Manager, and community partners to deliver community-focused and parent-inclusive events that reflect gospel-shaped relationships.
Manage partnerships with churches, agencies, and cultural communities that align with the College’s ethos of servant leadership.
Mentor student leaders in partnership with Heads of Schools and the Head of Biblical Foundations.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and risk management standards for all mission-related activities.
Measure and report on the outcomes of mission and community programmes to the Principal.
About You

You will be:

A committed Christian whose life is sustained by faith, prayer, and active fellowship.
Theologically grounded, able to translate biblical principles into practical strategies across education, service, and community life.
A collaborative and strategic leader with experience in missions, outreach, community partnerships, or parent engagement.
A gifted communicator and mentor who inspires others to serve with humility and purpose.
Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple partnerships and travel commitments.
Qualifications:

·         A recognised teaching qualification and current NZ teacher registration (preferred but not essential).

Demonstrated leadership experience in missions, education, community partnership, or parent engagement.
