About CATAS

In 2005, CATAS was founded as an independent not-for-profit charitable company, by the Baptist Union of New Zealand. We recognised that many churches and church-related trusts were struggling with financial management and reporting. To meet this need, we created a professional, cost-effective accounting, bookkeeping and payroll service firm dedicated to the faith-based charitable sector.

We have a team of 6 accountants, 2 bookkeepers and 4 payroll administrators. Over 350 churches and Christian charities from all over NZ make up our client base. This includes, Anglican, ACTSNZ, AOG, Baptist, C3, Catholic, CCCNZ, Elim, Lutheran, New Life, Presbyterian, Reformed, Vineyard, independent churches, early learning centres and community trusts.
