El-Shaddai Family Church
Help us plant this new Church for English speaking communities!
We are a small Church currently based in Penrose, Auckland – Predominantly serving the immigrant communities. We have been serving the community for about 3 years.
We operate slightly different to other traditional Churches – We do not employ staff. The Church is fully run by volunteers (Who all hold different secular jobs). 100% of the tithes / offerings received from the congregation goes back to the community. We are a heavily mission focussed Church – We support several mission organisations both in New Zealand and overseas.
It was always our intent that we start a worship service in the area to cater to English speaking communities in the area. While the new Church congregation is expected to be predominantly young members, we will cater to members of all ages.
We are looking for like-minded Christians who are willing to assist us with :
(a) Leading the Worship in English
(b) Sharing the Word of God in English
The Service would be held in Penrose at 8:30 am – Every Sunday (And special services like Good Friday, Easter, Christmas etc.,). Hence, your services will be required each Sunday between 8 and 10:30 am, plus on special occasions.
Because the policy of the Church is not to employ staff, we are unable to pay a “Salary”- However, we will pay a very generous honorarium for the services each week.
