Camps and Events Coordinator

For fifty years Elevate Christian Disability Trust has been encouraging and empowering people with disabilities to live to their full potential, through our regional groups, Auckland centre, camps, church support and publications. We are passionate about seeing people with disability and their whānau leading, contributing, growing and belonging, in Christian and local communities around New Zealand.  

The Camps and Events Coordinator is responsible for taking the lead in coordinating our annual and bi-annual camps and events run by our National Support Office. These include, but may not be limited to, our annual Family Camp, bi-annual National Camp, bi-annual leadership retreat, and The Soul Lounge at Festival One.

The role ensures these camps and events encourage connection with God and others; provide opportunities for growth; and support people with disability and their family to lead and contribute.

This role is a part-time permanent role, with flexibility in hours for the right person. The position requires working onsite at our Centre in Onehunga, Auckland, with opportunity to work some hours remote. You would be required to work over the weekend for the camps/events (at least three a year) with time in lieu for overtime worked.
