The purpose of this role is (1) to build a viable children’s and families ministry on Sundays at Helensville Community Church, assisting the church to become more family-friendly and multi-generational, and (2) to develop and lead appropriate week-day children’s and families programmes and groups which increase relational and missional connections between the church and the wider community.
We are seeking someone who has a deep and lively Christian faith, and who is warmly relational, empathetic and caring, a good communicator and listener, motivated and conscientious, strategic and adaptable, confident and resilient, and a team-player.
This is a part-time (16 hrs p.w.) position, on a fixed term for an initial three years. The appointee will work closely with the local pastor and church people, and under the leadership of Massey-Riverhead Presbyterian Church. Expressions of interest and applications to stuart.m.lange@gmail.com
