We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full time Head of Learning Area in our Primary School (Phase 1 with specific year level yet to be determined) based on our Junior Campus (Years 1-6) starting 28 January 2026.

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of 2000 students.  Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tumanako.

About the job

Key responsibilities of this 2SU role include:

  • Pedagogical and teacher practice oversight (assessment, planning, student data, etc.)
  • Ensure ongoing collaboration across teams
  • Pastoral care for staff and students in team, incl. L2 discipline
  • Grow leadership capability within the team
  • Embed the KingsWay Collaboration Framework
  • Create an environment where student and staff strengths can flourish
  • Champion the language, vision, and values of KingsWay School
