MotiVate Charitable Trust is seeking a new Country Director.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Country Director is responsible for overseeing the operations, strategic planning, and communications of the New Zealand office for Missionary Ventures, with legal and financial accountability to the trustees of MotiVate Charitable Trust and organisational accountability to Missionary Ventures’ leadership through the MV Regional Director.
The role ensures effective two-way communication and reporting between the New Zealand office and Missionary Ventures HQ.
The Director will lead the office in achieving its strategic mission objectives, with local board-level support, fostering a collaborative and culturally relevant environment.
This role is expected to be full-time. However, for the right candidate there may be some flexibility depending on availability and funding.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Responsible for:
o Office-related personnel, volunteers & representatives
Key Relationships within Missionary Ventures:
o Missionary Ventures HQ Leadership
o Other Country Office Directors
o Ministry personnel sent from NZ
o Field-based Ministry Partners
LOCATION:
o Anywhere within New Zealand.

EXPERIENCE:
o ·Experience in cross-cultural, missional, ministry
o ·Experience in planning & team leadership
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to raise own financial support.
o Mature Christian faith, with strong leadership ability
o Willingness to travel within New Zealand and overseas on a regular basis.
o Cross-cultural competency and sensitivity.
