Heart for Asia, hope for billions
We are looking for a new Serve Asia Coordinator. This would be a paid part-time position for 15 hours a week and can be done from anywhere in NZ. The role would involve responding to enquirers, conducting interviews, talking to coordinators in our East Asian fields about placements, training and then debriefing the workers when they return. If they were working outside of Auckland, then most of the work would need to be done remotely. Some occasional travel to attend team meetings and training in our Auckland office and East Asia would be necessary.
We need someone with a heart for overseas missions who has done at least one short-term missions trip with an agency, has some experience with Asian cultures, is organised and has good people skills. We use Microsoft Office to communicate and collaborate in our NZ and international team.
