What is the New Zealand Christian Network?
We are a registered non-profit organisation and our mission is to help Christians work together, build the Church, and positively influence society.
We network, develop relationships, identify issues where the Church can be more effective by working together, and help provide leadership for change.
In response to Jesus’ prayer “may they be one that the world will know” (John 17), we long to see greater unity in the Church, and for Christ’s influence to flourish in Aotearoa New Zealand.

New Zealand goes to prayer
Nothing calls for prayer as much as sudden disaster and death. So it happened today, exactly a week to the hour after the terror shootings of Muslims at prayer in Christchurch last Friday, that New Zealanders were called to prayer to reflect on this horrific event and on all that has happened since.

All over the country, Christian churches and Christian people have been praying for our New Zealand Muslim community, and showing them love and support through messages, visits, gifts, and participation in vigils. This remains the overwhelming Christian response: sorrow, prayer, and compassion.
